It’s hard to believe that after months of dreaming, planning, and working, our vision for Melrose Place YXE is finally becoming a reality! Despite the ups and downs, and redirecting of plans and even some of our original dreams for the space – we have created the most special location to stay in the heart of YXE, and we can’t wait to reveal it to you all, and ultimately have you as guests!
However, before that can happen, we need to add the finishing touches and we know that these stunning and unique additions from various Prairie businesses are going to make the space truly come alive for our future guests here at Melrose Place YXE. High River, AB
We were pleased to be introduced to Unqiuely Iron through the owners of Cream Co, a creative exchange and marketing agency located in Calgary, Alberta. Uniquely Iron is one of their clients, and we knew immediately that it would be a great fit to partner with them, as their style, design, and craftsmanship is beyond compare!
Our boho-meets-industrial vibe at Melrose Place YXE is the perfect way to highlight a couple of our favourite Uniquely Iron products, including their Acre Floating Shelf Brackets, and also their stunning one-of-a-kind Hillside Coat Rack (shown below). Uniquely Iron ships across Canada and they are so easy and pleasant to work with! We are so excited to have them as partners at Melrose Place, and would highly recommend their stunning work to anyone looking for custom iron design!
Warman, SK
Carmen DeKlerk is truly one of the most talented artists we have had the pleasure to work with. Located in Warman, SK, we first began working with Carmen as she created the CADS for our original Melrose Place YXE Design. Although that design has shifted, we were truly impressed with Carmen’s professionalism and talent in this area, and the plans she put together were of the highest quality.
Not only is Carmen talented with digital design, she is also a certified interior designer and an amazing water-colour artist. Her ability to pull a space together, and perfectly plan and execute any interior vision is so inspiring! We are also thrilled to be able to feature some of her artwork in our space – all of which will be available for purchase to our future guests. She is most inspired by the outdoors, and a love of home, with the desire to create a feeling of belonging, a feeling of home- and experience that brings energy and peace to everyday life.
Regina, SK
Channing is the lovely designer and maker of up-and-coming SK business, Curated Pillow Co. Recently connected through Instagram, I immediately fell in love with her classic style, and eye for perfectly combining colours, patterns, and textures. Her love of home décor, styling and textiles inspired her to launch Curated Pillow Co only a few short months ago, and already her gorgeous pillows are a hot commodity.
We are so excited to have partnered with Channing to help us add some texture and flare to Melrose Place YXE! Anyone who knows me knows that I firmly believe you can never have too many beautiful throw pillows, and we can’t wait to feature Curated Pillow Co designs throughout the suite!
Saskatoon, SK
Here at Melrose Place YXE, we are huge fans of Palliser Rooms/EQ3 located in YXE, so much so that our suite is exclusively furnished by them! We knew we wanted to work with the team at Palliser Rooms/EQ3 immediately, not only because they are an amazing local business, but also because of their high quality products and excellent customer service. The team did a fantastic job of helping us select the perfect pieces for each space at Melrose Place.
Additionally – did you know that Palliser Rooms/EQ3 also has an incredible selection of home décor as well? Not only is our furniture exclusively EQ3, but many of our decorative touches throughout the space – including throw rugs, floor and table lamps, baskets, and vases – are also from Palliser Rooms EQ3! It truly is a one-stop-shop if you’re looking to outfit any room in your home, and I know their know friendly and knowledgable staff will be able to help you navigate the furniture selection process with ease!
